🔐 GDPR Tab Overview: Managing Marketing Preferences

The GDPR tab has now replaced the previous Marketing Preferences tab, offering a clearer and more sophisticated interface for managing Contact consent and communication preferences.

🗂️ What You Can See

This tab displays a Contact’s approved communication preferences, making it easy to determine how they can be contacted for marketing purposes.

For example:

This Contact has opted into the Mailing List, Emailing List, and SMS Text List—which means they can receive:

• Property Bulletins

• Property Detail Emails

• SMS-based marketing

However:

❌ They have not given permission for telephone contact, so you must avoid:

• Calling the Contact directly

• Sharing their phone number with third parties

✅ Tip: Always check the GDPR tab before sending marketing material to ensure compliance and respect user consent.

You are able to still send “Transactional” emails to the customer as these do not require Marketing Preferences to be ticked on.
