📱 Creating an “App” Shortcut

There are various ways to create an “App” shortcut, depending on the device and browser you're using.

For example, if you're using Google Chrome on a desktop:

Look for the Install icon located on the right-hand side of the address bar (near the URL).
Clicking this icon allows you to install the current site as a standalone app.

This turns the website into a launchable app-like experience for quick access.

🌐 Desktop Browsers

Browser	Steps to Create App Shortcut / Install App
Google Chrome	Visit the site you want to install Click the Install icon on the far right of the URL bar (looks like a monitor with a down arrow) Confirm installation to add the shortcut to your desktop or start menu
Microsoft Edge	Go to the site Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner Select Apps → Install this site as an app
Firefox	Firefox doesn’t currently support Progressive Web App installation You can create a desktop shortcut manually by dragging the site icon onto your desktop
Safari (Mac)	Navigate to the site Click File → Add to Dock (in some versions) Or drag the URL to your desktop to create a shortcut
